Manufacturing Process

Repetitive, Discrete, Job shop, Batch Process and continous Process areconfigured in Gateway ERP. Process flow haos been fine tuned in order to get real time visibility of stages and status to update delivery point against sales orders.

Products are classified as per the behaviour pattern. Classification of type of product, brand, department, category, subcategory and divisions. Multiple quantity transactions with its calculations of volume, weight for logistics and warehousing purposes. Barcoding, stock level and order level identified.

Bill of material can be standardised or derived as the case may be to produce. Inter linked BoM is handled properly to have full visibility of what to produce and buy to make a product. Standard cost of overhead and material input on actual has been taken to transfer the cost. Actual VS standard BoM analysed for cost control.

Material Requirement planning is very much required to plan production. Material availability at a glance on the basis of sales order and/or production order for stock. Each stage of material. semi finished, parts involved in assembly can be reserved and balanced to be purchased. As per the lead time management in procurement, will be able to forecast the possible delivery date through this function.

Production planned as per the material availability coming from MRP run and the machine and manpower capacity and engagement. Reservation of time frame of the production plant and work order being placed to produce. At the planning stage support system provided are stock level, average requirements etc..

Sales order keyed in is visible for follow up and reservation of available stock and balance to be produced or purchased. Production of purchase order will be placed from the sales order after reserving items from the stock. Once available the system allows for picking, packing, delivering and invoice from one window. Invoice will be dispatched through mails and follow up confirmation of delivery of goods and invoice with attachment.

As per MRP run, stock level requirement, price advantage of scalability are routed to purchase requests. Purchase order with approval functions been placed and followed up till it reaches or cancelled as the case may be. Warehouses will receive materials as per purchase order and invoice done by accounts with the strength of goods receipt and purchase order. Quality assurance is required before confirming the GRN, in case of rejection goods returned and invoicing will take care of the returned goods. Expenses incurred and charged by the supplier for delivery and expenses incurred while recieving are part of the purchases and land cost is derived per unit and accounted for in inventory.

Wastage and rejections are the main costs escalated in production. In process quality control procedure, recording of wastage, rejections and account. Analyse per product, time , machine and / or manpower may be the reasons.

Machine running hours recorded to know the utilisation. Shut down and preventive maintenance management gives time taken and idle hours will be obtained from it and capacity utilisation can be derived. Maintenance procedure starts with work order, permissions, issuance of parts, consumables and labour hours or external service charges will be accounted per machine.

Common costs incurred during production will be allocated through an absorption costing system. Direct cost as per issuance of material, man hours and machine hours as per actual recording. Real time cost conversion happens to derive actual cost of product produced .

Finance and Accounting

Operational accounting automise accounting from operations, other financial transactions are routed through approvals and interactive management dashboard. Real time posting and monitoring mechanism of post dated cheques, prepayments and security cheques. Term loan management, inter branch and inter company transactions allows to avoid reconciliations. Real time financials, budgets, cash flow and supporting schedules provided monthly and periodical closing with tax submission.

Appraisal and deductions once approved will be automatically calculated as per effective date.

End of service Benefits such as Indemnity, leave salary and annual travel allowance automatically calculated for monthly posting. Disbursement of leave salary and travel is considered through a process, approval and payment. Resignation or Termination calculations done automatically as per the predefined calculation matrix.
